Welcome to Share in Toronto, the GTA's Brand New Message Board!

Toronto and it’s surrounding areas such as Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Burlington, Pickering, Whitby, Markham, Oshawa, Woodbridge, Maple Richmond Hill and Aurora, have no real voice on the internet, and we here at Share in Toronto are here to change that.

We want people to Share in Toronto, but not in any negative way, rather in a way to make our community better by giving the people their voice so they can be heard.

Heard about their thoughts (positive or negative) when it comes to businesses, or issues we can all solve together.

While we feel it’s very important to always make new like minded friends and networking is the key to much success, this message board for the GTA is for social interaction, as well as business and company reviews and referrals.

Examples are who do you recommend we go to when we want to spend our money in the first place.  Who do you trust when you go to a restaurant, get your car fixed, seek out a lawyer, find a cleaning service, get your computer serviced and so on.

Saying that, just remember that everyone’s point of view is different.  I might like things of more quality, where that doesn’t matter as much to you.  You may want great customer service even if the quality isn’t up to someone else’s standards and so on.

We encourage you to join this free message board and start posting, but please post in the right city and section so we can keep the board neat & easy to search on.

We also have an articles section, so if you wish to write an article about a subject you are very knowledgeable about, please go to the contact page and forward us your article.  We will take a look and see if it falls inline with our positive views of helping people to learn and become a better city and society.

Now because this board is new, we need your help on which forums you wish to see created.

We can’t guarantee they will all be created, but we will do the best we can with what we have.

We are also looking for moderators who wish to help take care of the board, so if you are interested, please apply here.

A few rules which will make everyone’s stay more enjoyable…

  1. Absolutely NO flaming.   

    Flaming means bad mouthing someone, or intentionally trying to start a war online.  You are given one 1-2 warnings depending on the severity of your actions and then you are banned. 

    If you are only here to attack others, or even one specific person, please don’t bother, this is a board of peace. 

  2. If you have a negative review or opinion about a company, sole practitioner, or even an individual person, you must first e-mail us your real first and last name, plus your phone number, otherwise your review will not make it to the public’s eyes. 

    Your personal information is for our records only, as we will not tolerate people maliciously spreading false rumours that are not true. 

    If you have nothing to hide, this should be an easy request. 

    This is not mandatory for GREAT reviews, but businesses we find who are promoting their own company, will be banned, and their name will be outed on the board. 

  3. While we feel this is a given, we must state that Stalking is absolutely forbidden.

    If you ever feel that one of our moderators is doing something against our code of ethics and we sincerely hope this never happens, please write the board owner personally.  Her contact information can be found on this page.
